What we believe

We believe in one God, who exists in three Persons — the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. He is always love, good and faithful. We believe that Jesus Christ perfectly represented the heart, nature and will of God through His life and teachings.

We believe that the Old and New Testaments (the Holy Bible) are God’s inspired Word. It is accurate and is profitable for teaching, training and correcting us so that we may be prepared and equipped for every good work. It is the final authority.

We believe that the gospel is the good news of God’s unconditional love and grace for all mankind through the finished work of Jesus Christ. This is the message that Jesus instructed His followers to take to the entire world.

We believe Jesus Christ is both God and Man. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin. He led a sinless life, took all our sins upon Himself, died, and rose again. Today, He is seated in the highest place of authority and will one day return just as He has promised.

We believe that through the fall of Adam and Eve, sin separated us all from God, but through faith in the grace that is in Christ Jesus, we are forgiven, made righteous, released from the Old Covenant law, we have open access to God, have a new nature, a new identity and we have become a part of a new family. We are saved by grace through faith, not by works. All of this is the gift of God to man, who can freely receive it through faith.

We believe the Holy Spirit is our Comforter and guides us in all areas of our lives. We believe that through the baptism of the Holy Spirit we receive empowering to live a supernatural life of power to be effective witnesses of Jesus with spiritual gifts to do the same works that He did and even greater.

We believe that the Church is of highest value to Christ and that it is His agent of change in the world to equip believers to impact society and change the world.

We believe that water baptism is an outward act that demonstrates a believer’s identification with the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus.

We Believe that the Lord’s Supper (or Holy Communion) is a celebration of Jesus’ victory and that partaking in it is a declaration of our victory in Him.

We believe that Christ frees us from sin, sickness, defeat, guilt, punishment, poverty, oppression and aimlessness, and that through Christ we are forgiven, healed, victorious, innocent, blessed and have divine purpose.

We believe that as a local church are a blessed to be a blessing to our area and the whole world. We are called to be a blessing locally and internationally in spreading the glorious gospel of Jesus Christ.
