3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ,
 
God has already blessed us – past tense. You’ve got all spiritual blessings, not just a few, not just some, not just a few to kind of make you look good or get you through – you’ve got more than enough!
 
Many Christians are begging God, “please bless me? God bless me….” They pray prayers like the prayer of Jabez but we’re in a far better position this side of the cross! It’s better to acknowledge what you’ve got in Christ, “Thank You father, that I am blessed! Thank you, that in You, I’ve got everything I need!” You might not have enough money to pay your rent right now. You might not have the healing that you need in your body. But the good news is that in the spirit, you’ve already got it! God has already provided everything you need for life and for godliness. Start to thank Him for what you’ve already got and stop begging Him to move. God has already moved.
 
Most Christians are starting from a position of lack in their prayer life. “God, please bless me…” This is a lack mentality. You’re saying that you don’t have any blessing and need to get the blessing of God. Asking God for His blessing is a lack mentality. We are not fighting for victory, we’re fighting from victory. We’re not fighting for provision, we’ve got it already! All we need to do is release it.
 
1 Peter 2:24 New King James Version (NKJV)
who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed.
 
“You were healed”! This means that God has already healed you. He’s not withholding healing from anyone. Healing is part of what Jesus has done for us through His death and resurrection. It’s already yours; it belongs to you! You might feel some pain physically, you might be emotionally experiencing pain, but it’s never in your spirit man. You are a spirit-being, you have a soul (mind, will, intellect and emotions) and you live in a body (what you see). Your spirit is full of power, healing, love, peace and joy. The more you believe the truth about who you are in the spirit, the more you will experience it in your emotions (your belief system) and in your body.
 
Faith is based on knowledge. Faith is how we receive from God. Faith is being persuaded of God. Faith is being fully convinced that what God says, is true. The more you know God’s truth, the more you’re able to be able to believe him. The moment you said yes to Jesus was the moment you got placed into victory and now you’re completely victorious. The moment you said yes to Jesus was the moment you became victorious. When you got to start renewing your mind and start believing the truth about what God says about you, you’ll start walking in victory!
