🌟 There is hope!

“Then Mary said to the angel, “How can this be, since I do not know a man?” And the angel answered and said to her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Highest will overshadow you; therefore, also, that Holy One who is to be born will be called the Son of God. Now indeed, Elizabeth your relative has also conceived a son in her old age; and this is now the sixth month for her who was called barren. For with God nothing will be impossible.”

“34 Mary said, “But how could this happen? I am still a virgin!” 35 Gabriel answered, “The Spirit of Holiness will fall upon you and almighty God will spread his shadow of power over you in a cloud of glory! This is why the child born to you will be holy, and he will be called the Son of God. 36 What’s more, your aged aunt, Elizabeth, has also become pregnant with a son. The ‘barren one’ is now in her sixth month. 37 Not one promise from God is empty of power, for nothing is impossible with God!”

Christmas is a great reminder that nothing is impossible with God. There were so many miraculous things concerning Jesus’ birth – prophecies of His birth hundreds of years before it happened; angelic appearances to many different people; a virgin conception and birth; a unique star which pointed to the birthplace of Jesus and led people from the east to come and welcome Him with gifts and worship; and so much more! There is nothing normal about what we celebrate at Christmas!

Without God there are many things that are not possible – but thank God we are not without Him and therefore nothing is impossible for us!
