🙌 How do you know if you’ve got faith?💥

How do you know if you’ve got faith? The logical conclusion is that you obviously have faith when you see the result of your faith, but that is incorrect.

Mark 11:24 New King James Version (NKJV)
“Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.”

Jesus taught that faith believes that it has it before it sees it. We cannot wait to see the results and then say that we have faith. You cannot judge faith by the results or lack thereof. We need to recognise that there is a spiritual realm and there is much more happening in that realm than that which we can see.

Hebrews 11:1 New King James Version (NKJV)
“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”

There is an unseen realm, therefore, we cannot merely go by what we see. The evidence of that realm is our faith. The result is not the evidence – faith is! If you can grasp this, it will enable you to walk in more of what God has for you.

You have all the faith you need! You have been given the measure of faith (Romans 12:3) and that measure is the size of Jesus’s faith (Galatians 2:20). You have all the faith you need! Jesus said to his disciples that if they had faith the size of a mustard seed they would be able to do great things (Luke 17:6). It’s not about how much faith you have (although as a Christian you have a lot) but rather it’s about how much faith you are using. What are you doing with the faith you have?

Usually, when we talk about faith we automatically think about receiving miracles or healing or walking in the power of God. We think about faith to receive a new car, or a house or a job, but we need to realize that we also need faith to fulfil our God-given purpose and destiny. If you don’t need faith to do what you’re doing, then you’re not walking in God’s plans for your life, yet. God will never call you to do something that you can do successfully without Him. God is calling you to do something that you can only do if you trust Him; that’s why the Bible says that the just shall live by faith (Romans 1:17).
