“For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he…” Proverbs 23:7 KJV
When you see yourself as God sees you you’ll start to live like it. You cannot consistently act in a way that’s inconsistent with the way you see yourself. The more we meditate on what God says about us, the more we’ll start to believe it.
Here are some more identity statements for you to say out loud and meditate on today:
- I am led by God in a triumphal procession – I am victorious! (2 Corinthians 2:14)
- Since I have died, I no longer live for myself, but for Christ. (2 Corinthians 5:14,15)
- I am a new creation. (2 Corinthians 5:17)
- I am reconciled to God and am a minister of reconciliation. (2 Corinthians 5:18,19)
- I have been made righteous. I am 100% right with God, 100% of the time. Righteousness is a gift I received not a result I achieved. (2 Corinthians 5:21)
- I am given strength in exchange for weakness. (2 Corinthians 12:10)
- I have been crucified with Christ and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. The life I am now living is Christ’s life. (Galatians 2:20)
- I am a saint – a holy one. (Ephesians 1:1; 1 Corinthians 1:2; Philippians 1:1; Colossians 1:2)
- I have been blessed with every spiritual blessing. I have everything I need for life and godliness – I am power-packed and fully loaded! (Ephesians 1:3; 2 Peter 1:3)
Have a great day!
Much love, Shayne
